The Scientific Council for the specialty of general surgery conducted the clinical exam for the resident doctors who passed the final written examination at Al Rahma Hospital in Darkoush.
Practical examinations were conducted for the residents, first by taking the clinical history of each patient, then discussing the case for each resident by the members of the committee, including the laboratory or radiological investigations to be conducted, and discussing the case in general with the complications of the surgical work and the technique of the surgical work before the surgical work, then the surgical work performed by each doctor resident.
After finishing the surgical procedure which was totally monitored and observed by all the exam committee members, the committee members performed an oral interview with each resident doctor, which included spoken questions and a discussion of various clinical situations.
Finally, the Syrian Board of Medical Specializations extends its thanks to all members of the Scientific Council for General Surgery, and also a special thanks to the administrative and medical staff at Al-Rahma Hospital in Darkush for the facilities and services they provided for the success of the exam.
